On August 22, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology issued a notice on organizing the collection of typical application scenarios and cases of industrial green microgrids.

The notice pointed out that the scope of the solicitation will focus on key areas such as automobiles, electronics, materials, equipment, biomedicine, urban industries, data centers, 5G base stations, and a number of industrial green microgrids integrating distributed photovoltaic, distributed wind power, high-efficiency heat pumps, new energy storage, hydrogen energy, waste heat and pressure utilization, intelligent energy management and control, etc.

The applicant shall have industrial enterprises, industrial parks, or system solution providers of corresponding industrial green microgrids with independent, complete and stable operation of industrial green microgrids. Among them, industrial enterprises and system solution suppliers should be registered in this city and have independent legal personality; industrial parks should be municipal and above industrial parks with management agencies in this city.

Notice of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology on Organizing the Collection of Typical Application Scenarios and Cases of Industrial Green Microgrid

All relevant units:

Industrial green microgrid is an important way to improve energy efficiency and ensure the rational use of energy in industry. It is an important direction to cultivate new kinetic energy for green growth and forge new competitive advantages in the industry. It is also an important way to promote the high proportion of renewable energy and promote the implementation of the "double carbon" goal. In accordance with the work requirements of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Organizing and Carrying out the Collection of Typical Application Scenarios and Cases of Industrial Green Microgrids (Section Letter (2023) No. 224 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), the collection of typical application scenarios and cases of industrial green microgrids in this city is now organized. Relevant matters are notified as follows:

Scope of 1. solicitation

Focusing on key areas such as automobiles, electronics, materials, equipment, biomedicine, urban industries, as well as data centers and 5G base stations, a number of industrial green microgrids with integrated applications such as distributed photovoltaic, decentralized wind power, high-efficiency heat pumps, new energy storage, hydrogen energy, waste heat and pressure utilization, and smart energy management and control are solicited.

2. declaration conditions

(I) reporting subject. Industrial enterprises, industrial parks with independent, complete and stable operation of industrial green microgrids, or system solution providers of corresponding industrial green microgrids. Among them, industrial enterprises and system solution suppliers should be registered in this city and have independent legal personality; industrial parks should be municipal and above industrial parks with management agencies in this city.

(II) specific requirements. The declared industrial green microgrid should achieve stable operation, have significant energy saving and carbon reduction effects, respond to the relevant requirements of the city's virtual power plant construction, and meet at least three of the following requirements:

1. The proportion of renewable energy consumption in the total energy consumption of the enterprise and the park reaches more than 15%, or the proportion of renewable energy, industrial waste heat and pressure utilization, energy cascade utilization (including cogeneration, gas distributed energy, etc.) in the total energy consumption of the enterprise and the park reaches more than 30%;

The installed capacity of renewable energy in industrial enterprises reaches more than 2MW, and the installed capacity of renewable energy in industrial parks reaches more than 10MW;

3. The proportion of renewable energy consumption (the proportion of renewable energy consumption in renewable energy power generation) reaches more than 80%;

4. The power load regulation capacity (the proportion of the load that can change its output power to the maximum power load according to the needs of the power system) reaches more than 5%;

The installed scale of new energy storage (including electrochemical energy storage, flywheel energy storage, compressed air energy storage, hydrogen (ammonia) energy storage, etc.) reaches more than 1MW;

6. The annual production scale of hydrogen from renewable energy or industrial by-product hydrogen reaches more than 5000 tons and is used nearby;

7. The utilization rate of industrial residual energy (the proportion of industrial waste heat, residual pressure, chemical residual energy, residual cooling and other residual energy to the theoretical available residual energy) reaches more than 60%.
